2009 Festival of Trees |

|
This year, a special feature of the festival is “A Beary Merry Christmas”. “A Beary Merry Christmas” is a 9 foot tall tree covered in collectible teddy bears courtesy of Barry Dangler of Needful Things Emporium in Longwood. Select bears will be included in a raffle to be held during the exhibit period. See pictures of the "Beary Merry Christmas tree" below.
Other Holiday trees have been donated by organizations such as Holy Cross Lutheran Academy, Heritage at Lake Forest, the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Mary, Lake Mary Woman’s Club, Florida Living Quarters, Lake Mary Trailblazers, Girl Scouts, Synergy Medical Care, Oakmonte Village and many other individuals and organizations. Visitors will have the opportunity to bid on their favorite tree in a silent auction, with the successful bidders taking home a fully decorated and very special tree just in time for the holidays!
Admission is free. All proceeds from the silent auction go toward the cost of providing future exhibits and events at the museum.
We're located at 158 N. Country Club Road. Our hours are: Thursdays - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Arrangements for tours can be made by calling 407-585-1481.
