Unless otherwise stated, there is no charge to visit The museum, which is open Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and  Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Certain events may be held at other times and are so noted in the information below.

                Rocks Rock!

Rocks Rock, an exhibit of rocks, minerals, fossils and gemstones from all over the world, starts at the Lake Mary Historical Museum Saturday, August 7th and continues through Saturday, September 18th.  Included in the exhibit will be cave formations, a dinosaur egg, a display of agatized coral (Florida’s state rock) and several rock and mineral specimens that glow in ultraviolet light. The Lake Mary Historical Museum is located at 158 N. Country Club Rd in Lake Mary. Hours are Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM or by appointment. Candlelight Tales

 

Step back in time to the 19th century as storyteller Joe Rosier portrays a country doctor who will regale you with haunting stories about Florida's past and things that still go bump in the night. Ghost Walk

 

Meet some of Lake Mary's most famous ghosts on the 45 minute Ghost Walk. Tours depart every 10 minutes. $5 for adults, $2 for kids under 18. Reservations required. Click here for printable flyer.

Festival of Trees

 

See the beautifully decorated trees and holiday decorations donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals. Bid on your favorite tree or decoration in the continuous silent auction and take it home for the holidays.

Our holiday thank you to the community. Come see the Lake Mary Museum decorated for the holidays. Refreshments provided.
